Biography

Suzanne Robertson is currently touring in GREAT EXPECTATIONS, directed by Graham McLaren.

She has worked as a professional actor since graduating in 2000 from The Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin. She was awarded an Irish Times Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance as Vivie Warren in The Abbey Theatre’s production of Mrs Warren’s Profession.

Suzanne spent almost six years developing and acting in the hugely successful LIFEBOAT for Catherine Wheels Theatre Company. During this time the show won the Barclays Stage Award for Best Show for Children and Young People, performed at the New Victory Theatre Broadway, was part of the Edinburgh Festival and the New Zealand International Arts Festival and was the first production by a Scottish children’s theatre company at the Sydney Opera House.

Her other extensive National and International Theatre career includes: Hansel and Gretel for National Theatre of Scotland; Map of The Heart at Salisbury Playhouse; Merlin the Magnificent at The Royal Lyceum Edinburgh; James and the Giant Peach, A Bear called Paddington for Polka Theatre and Mr Staines for Pan Pan Theatre Dublin.
